Brian Joros: Fixture of his Community
Brian Joros has been a pillar of his community of Palm Beach,
Florida for years. He was an excellent baseball coach in two different high
school baseball programs from 2005 to 2012, winning 215 games, a District
Championship, and a Regional Championship during that span. He is also a
successful business man known for his savvy and management skills. He coached
the baseball powerhouse that is West Boca Raton High School to 93 wins in five
seasons and a Regional Championship in 2007. After his tenure at West Boca
Raton ended in 2009, he spent a couple of years running his sporting gear
business, TSG Sportswear with his business partner Chris Pleicones, then
returned to coaching in 2011.
During his first year as the coach of the struggling baseball team at Royal
Palm Beach High School, he took the team to its first ever District playoff
appearance since 2001 and lost in the first round to his former team from West
Boca Raton. The next year, he coached the Royal Palm Beach High School Wildcats
to their first ever District Championship, going 22-5 for the season.
Brian Joros moved on from the coaching position at Royal Palm Beach High
School, but he still lives and breathes baseball. He founded the Grand Slam
National Tournament soon after he left Royal Palm Beach to showcase some of the
best high school level baseball talent in the country. He works as the chief of
recruitment, the director of the board, and the head financial manager.
